Why OK Design

We don't just build what we're asked to.

A site built exactly to the brief rarely brings results. We spend our time on the research, interviews and decisions that come before design.

Our team mapping a sitemap on a whiteboard
01

Strategy before pixels.

We study your competitors, the words people search with and what your customers compare. We interview sales and field staff — not just the project lead — until we find the real reason customers choose you.

Strategy, design and marketing working at one table
02

One team, from strategy to marketing.

When the web agency and the marketing agency are different companies, intent gets lost in the handoff and improvement stalls. We build the site and run the search and ads afterwards, with the same people.

03

Built to be found — and quoted by AI.

Search and AI visibility are decided in the sitemap and the copy, long before design. So we plan them in from day one: which page answers which question, and where your pricing, cases and FAQs live.

About our name

“Eeyan” means that's nice!

Eeyan (ええやん) is an everyday phrase from Osaka and the Kansai region of Japan. It's close to “That's nice!” or “Sounds good!” — what you say when you like something, or when you're backing someone's idea.

It isn't formal praise. It's the friendly word people say without thinking twice. It says yes to someone's personality and to new challenges, and gives them a gentle push forward. That warmth is what we bring to every project.

FAQ

Common questions.

All questions
Do you work with companies outside Japan?
Yes. We work by email, shared documents and online meetings with an interpreter, and we write down every decision and next step, so time differences never hold a project up.
Can we call you?
We don't take phone calls in English, so please send your first inquiry through the contact form or by email. Once we're working together, we hold online meetings on Zoom or a similar tool — with an interpreter, so nothing gets lost.
What's the difference between translation and localization?
Translation changes the words. Localization reshapes the page around what Japanese buyers use to decide: company credentials, detailed specs, how easy it is to ask a question.
How long does a project take?
A new website usually takes about three months. A Japanese version of an existing site takes one to three months depending on scope.
How much does it cost?
Websites usually start from ¥500,000 to ¥700,000, depending on the type of site. Localization and SEO depend on scope — we'll send a quote by email once we understand your project.
